Ponte 16 Resort, Macau Proudly Supports “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2025” Macau Joins Hands with Kicker Culture to Host Charity Classic-Styled Motorcycle Event Advocating for Men’s Health
[Macau, 27 May, 2025] Ponte 16 Resort, Macau (hereinafter “Ponte 16”) proudly partnered with local non- profit organization Kicker Culture for the third consecutive year to jointly organize “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2025” (hereinafter DGR) in Macau. The event, held from May 17 to 18, 2025, seamlessly blended classic motorcycle charm with a strong philanthropic mission. Attracting over 130 classic motorcycles and a crowd of enthusiastic supporters, the festivities included a classic-styled motorcycle parade, a bazaar, live music, and informative health awareness sharing sessions. Fund raised from the event will support prostate cancer and men’s mental health research, underscoring Macau’s commitment to global charitable causes.
Dr. Hoffman Ma, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ponte 16, remarked: “The DGR Macau is more than an annual charity event; it represents Ponte 16’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and cultural enrichment. This international event allows us to foster stronger community connections while significantly raising awareness of charity and men’s health issues. It uniquely showcases Macau's ‘tourism + culture’ and ‘tourism + community’ synergy, and we are dedicated to continuing collaborations like these to further solidify Macau’s position as the ‘World Center of Tourism and Leisure’.”
Mr. Wakka Cheang, President of Kicker Culture, expressed: “Integrating musical performances and a bazaar this year infused the event with an added artistic dimension, enabling participants to fully appreciate classic motorcycle culture while fostering a deeper connection with the motorcycle-related and local culture scene. We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support from Ponte 16 and the incredible response from the community. We eagerly anticipate expanding the movement, which champions both charity and cultural diversity.”
Founded in Sydney, Australia in 2012, DGR is the world’s largest charity event for classic-styled motorcycle enthusiasts. It has since expanded its reach to over 100 countries and nearly 1,000 cities worldwide. To date, this international fundraising initiative has raised over US$60 million, funding more than 1,000 medical research projects.
