(HK/Macau, 1January, 2018) Ponte 16 Resort, Macau held the “Ponte 16 New Year’s Eve Countdown Music Party 2017”to welcome 2018with the famous C AllStar group from Hong Kong and Macau singer Terence Chui.The popular cartoon character, Angry Bird, also met the public at the event, as an introduction of the upcoming Angry Bird facility offered at Ponte 16. Fabulous prizesof the Countdown Lucky Draw includeda free trip to Bangkok for two persons.

 

The outdoor New Year’s Eve countdown celebration hosted by Ponte 16 is recognized as a major annual  event on the Macau peninsula. This year, the “Ponte 16 New Year’s Eve Countdown Music Party 2017” started from the afternoon to deliver a series of singing and dancing performances. The Ponte 16 outdoor plaza was turned into an open stage for the young local performers, bringing to the public pop songs, folk songs and pop dance. The evening show featured various famous artistes, including the popular C AllStar group from Hong Kong, Macau’s top singer Terence Chui, popular Hong Kong artiste Mayao Ma and Macau singers Ken Sou and Ring Hun as well as a local dance group.

 

2018 will be a milestone for Ponte 16 markingits 10th Anniversary Celebration. Ponte 16 keeps surprising local residents and Macau tourists by continuing expanding its leisure and entertainment facilities within the landmark of the Inner Harbour of Macau. The “Angry Birds Play Center at Ponte 16”, featuring the only themed kids’playing facility in Macau, will soon open at Ponte 16. The popular cartoon character “Angry Bird” appearedon stage last night having great fun playing games with the audience.

 

The event received sponsorship from Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16, ICBC Macau and Macau Coca-Cola Beverage Co., Ltd. as well as the telecom partner, CTM. The Countdown Lucky Draw prizes included free round trip Macau-Bangkok air tickets for two plus a 3-night stay at Sofitel So Bangkok Hotel, ICBC pre-paid card, dinner for two at Privé French Restaurant, cash vouchers from Le Chinois at Sofitel Macau, as well as many other great rewards.
