The six finalists of “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” have been selected

(HK/ Macau, 14 December 2018) The six finalists have been selected For “Ponte 16 Busking Contest”,with their performance highlights atthe preliminary round are available on the event website for public voting. The contestant who received the highest number of votes will become the winner of “My Favourite Star Online Vote Award”, and those who have votedfor the winner will be entered into a prize draw. The champion of the “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” and the winner of “My Favourite Star Online Vote Award” will be announced at the final competition on 15 December. They will also perform on stage of the upcoming “Ponte 16 New Year’s Eve Countdown Music Party” altogether with Nancy Wu and Matthew Ho, popular Hong Kong artistes, Alan Po and Takki Wong, the famous Hong Kong singers, as well as Germano Guilherme and Priscilla Chao, Macau pop singers.

Six Young Street Performers from Hong Kong and Macau Will Compete for the Championship

“Ponte 16 Busking Contest” had invited Alan Po, popular Hong Kong singer, Germano Guilherme, popular Macau singer, and Mr. K.L. Wong, local famous singing tutor, to be the judges of the preliminary round of the campaign. Six out of 14 contestants have been selected to compete in the final event on 15 December 2018.

Voting “My Favourite Star Online Vote Award” Online

The video highlights of the six finalists’ performance of the contest are available on the event website.You may wish to vote for your favorite performer. The contestant who received the highest number of votes will become the winner of “My Favourite Star Online Vote Award”, while those who have voted for the winner will have the chance to win the lunch buffet for two at Mistral Restaurant of Ponte 16.

The final round of the “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” will be held at Ponte 16 outdoor plaza on 15 December. Neo Cheung, the Chief Marketing Officer and Partner of Yiu Wing Live Co., Ltd., Pun Kuan Pou, the well-known music producer of Macau and Hong Kong singer, Takki Wong were invited to join the judging panel. The final six contestants will compete in live rounds of competition in the hopes of winning it all.

Join the Countdown Celebration with the Artistes to Welcome 2019 at Ponte 16

The signature annual event of the Inner Harbour of Macau, the “Ponte 16 New Year Eve’s Countdown Music Party” will be held on 31 December 2018. The evening show will feature various celebrities, including Nancy Wu and Matthew Ho, popular Hong Kong artistes, Alan Po and Takki Wong, famous Hong Kong singers, Germano Guilherme and Priscilla Chao, the Macau singers as well as Hong Kong artiste, Leung Ka Ki will be the emcee of the evening to welcome 2019 celebrating with the local residents and visitors of Macau.
