(Macau, 16 October, 2018) “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” will be held by Ponte 16 Resort, Macau is taking place in December 2018. It will provide a platform for young performers to show their talents in music and dance. In addition to the money-prizes, the winners will have the opportunity to perform at the “Ponte 16 New Year’s Eve Countdown Music Party 2018” with artistes and singers from Hong Kong and Macau in front of over5,000 audiences.

“Youth’s Stage” takes place at Ponte 16 Outdoor Plaza every month which offers the young performers a platform to show their talents and at the same time enhances the public’s appreciation of and participation in busking culture.The “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” will be held at “Youth’s Stage” this December. It welcomes both local and overseas talents who are between 15 – 35 years old to compete in the fields of singing, dancing and playing of musical instruments. The judging panel will be comprised of famous singing tutors and professionals in the arts and culture field. Two awards will be given out including the champion and “My favourite Star Online Vote Award”. In addition to the money-prize of up to MOP10,000, the awardees will be able to join the “Ponte 16 New Year’s Eve Countdown Music Party” on 31 December 2018 and perform together with the singers and artistes from Hong Kong and Macau.

Vote Your Favourite Star Online

The “Ponte 16 Busking Contest” will feature “My Favourite Star Online Vote Award” to be voted by the public.The video highlights of the participants’ performances in preliminary round will be uploaded on the website of Ponte 16 and open for public voting. The contestant with the highest number of votes will become the winner, and those who have voted for the winner will have the opportunity to win a lunch buffet for two at Mistral Restaurant, Ponte 16.
